For the last twenty-two years our gourmet food company has been family owned and operated. My daughter, Shannon O’Conor and I continue to operate and oversee every aspect of the business just as before my husband, Hal’s, death in July of 2007.
All the recipes for our mixes are developed in our store kitchen. The spices for the mixes are hand spooned into the package here at our store in Hearne, Texas. The spices are purchased from various companies throughout the United States. We buy only the base spices and do not buy prepared mixes. We also sell sweet and hot jalapeno peppers which are prepared here in our kitchen from our own recipes. Each year we develop new recipes for our shows in all the categories that we sell.
We have been featured on Food Finds on the Food Network several times in the past years and other newspaper articles.
